Daniel started playing poker in 2007. Originally when he started online he was playing SNGs of various formats, but after a couple of years realized that there was much more money to be made at cash. He did it properly got a good coach and quickly moved up to mid-stakes and eventually high stakes NLHE. To stay ahead of the curve he focused heavily on developing the theoretical side of his game as he always believed GTO to be an important backbone to understanding poker. However, he never forgot that to make the most money he needed to maximally exploit my opponents.
More recently, he steered his focus more heavily towards live poker and MTTs. He has also been coaching a lot because of how rewarding it is.
In his free time he focuses on health and fitness, sports and various outdoor activities. During more relaxed periods he enjoys non-fiction books and dabbles in DJ-ing techno.
