Diego got started in poker the same way many do, by playing Freerolls online along with Play Money games on Facebook. At the time, he was working as a waiter in Brazil, and as he learned more about the game and the skill involved, he knew he had to try his hand at becoming a professional poker player. The more he learned, the more he fell in love with the game, and with an engineering degree to fall back on if things didn’t work out, he pursued his dream of a career in poker. This decision proved to be a good one; Diego has achieved earnings of over $1.75M with many notable results, including a SCOOP title, winning the Super Tuesday, third place in the Sunday Million for $108K, as well as a second place finish in the PCA $10K Main Event, where he won $907K.
